Christmas 2011

So this Christmas was awesome. Having two girls is sooo much fun. Having our own house to wake up in and have Santa makes Christmas morning so much fun. We opened presents at our house and did Santa then we went to Malad for dinner, more presents, and to meet Elsie's new bf, Blake. He seems to be a pretty cool kid. He even wore a pink tie for Elsie, I think love is in the air. Here are the pictures from Christmas and our day after Christmas target shooting event.
Kennadee's 1st Christmas - She had began crawling.
Kelty - the sweetest but most mischeivious 2 year old. She has taken talking back to a whole new level.

We couldn't keep her out of the tree.

FUN WEEKEND!

There are so many fun things to do in Fall.
One of our favorite things to do is going to the corn maze at the American West Heritage Center with Becky's family. This year not only did we do the maze, there was a giant slide (that was awesome), and we rode the little train. This coming weekend the whole family is invited to come over and go to the Pumpkin Walk that we also do every year. And we have a Halloween party this weekend. I am so excited. Halloween was never that big of a deal to me until I had kids. Now I love it! I will definitely be posting pics of my cute girls in their costumes.
BFF's forever! Kelty and Abbie
Get Ready....Get Set....GO!!!!  These two thought it was sooo much fun. They wanted to keep going, and going, and going.
Hearing the giggles was sooo much fun.
Kolton and Kelty
Little mischievous munchkins. They kept jumping out of the corn and scaring people.
Monkey see....Monkey do
Abbie was sticking her tongue out for the pictures....so Kelty had to also.

My Sweetness

Kennadee really enjoyed the bumpy ride through the muddy corn maze. She just sat in her stroller being so cute. The entire time.

Speaking of a mischievous Keltys....
Matt started working weekends, yesterday I woke up, went into my walk-in closet to get dressed and Kelty followed me in. I didn't think anything of it because she does it every morning as she wants to be "just like mommy". Instead of staying in there and talking to me, she hurriedly shut the door and locked me in! It was like she had it all planned. Usually she unlocks the door for me immediately. Instead, she was acting like she was trying to unlock it and was laughing 'Mommy stuck! Mommy Stuck". After like 10 minutes of begging her to unlock the door, I decided if I could get her to get me my cell phone under the door, I could call my neighbor to use my hide-a-key to get in my house and let me out.

Kelty agreed to go get my phone, but never came back. Mean while Kennadee is just laying in her bed playing. I finally found something to pick the lock and got out. I went downstairs and asked Kelty why she never brought me my phone. When she saw me she said "Ut-oh". She had completely emptied the diaper bag, scattered it across the room, and was playing with the contents. She told me she didn't know why she didn't bring me the phone.

Then on the way to church, she got stung by a wasp. That made for an interesting day. I gave her some benadryl and instead of making her sleeping it made her hyper. She was bouncing off the walls for hours. She put a pillowcase around her waist like and dress and told me she was "Princarella".

Mr. Amazing...

So when I started dating Matt, I thought I had found Mr.Perfect and that he was waaay to good to be real. Then we got married and for the first 2 1/2 years I was still trying to figure out how I got to be with someone soooooo amazing. Then we had Kelty and I realized he was an even more amazing dad than I ever even thought possible. I am finding myself fall more and more in love with him all of the time. Now that we have had Kennadee; Matt is doing a lot more around the house since I work full-time now. I can't express enough how thankful I am for him and everything he does for me and the girls. He doesn't even read this blog, so I can brag and brag and brag about him.

Cousins

Kelty and Abbie at the Christiansen Family Reunion. These two are best friends! Kelty plays soooo cute with all of her cousins. It is so much fun watching Kelty play with Abbie and Bryken. They play so well together and could play for HOURS!

Kelty and Sweet Remi
The whole bunch.
The girls and I went my best friends wedding. Kelty and Kennadee were the cutest flower girls you have ever seen. On the way home, I hit a dear, and we stopped at Lexi's for church........WAIT A MINUTE!? I hit a deer? Yes, that's right I did. She was ok, and surprisingly so was my car. Kennadee was sleeping so it didn't phase her at all, I was VEERY shook up, and Kelty lightened the mood. Kelty said "Whoa! Bump?! Bump?!"

So for church Lexi and I decided to dress all 3 girls in their adorable super fluffy skirts. How stinking cute! And the boys looked so handsome.
