MOVING!

We are finally moving into our new house! YAY! Kelty figured out how to crawl up the stairs without mom's help. YIKES! She insists on my bringing her down though, she won't even attempt going down the stairs. Which is ok.

Tracy Legrand Jones

I am not going to pretend that Tracy and I were like super close or anything. That would be him and my sister, but we were still close in age and in recent years talked a lot when we were at nan's. A year ago May 6 (in the middle of the night tonight) Tracy's life here on earth ended in tragedy beginning his eternal life in heaven with our Bompa. I remember like it was yesterday walking through the door coming home from school before I went back to work and Matt gave me the news. I didn't believe, I thought he must have misunderstood. I went down the hallway in shock and Matt said "Bri don't freak out! You don't want to harm the baby." (I was 6 months prego with Kelty, and Matt was worried I would go into premature labor from the hurt and confusion) I called my mom crying and confused and she confirmed what Matt said and gave me the details.

I remember when we were little going herding cows, we would always ride in the back of Bompa's truck and Tracy would knaw on the hay left in the truck bed. DISGUSTING! Is what I always told him. There was one time just him and I went herding cows with Bompa, my dad & Roy. I was on Sugar and Tracy was on Tinker. Bompa sent us around a ridge to gather cows and my hat flew off, I didn't want to get off my horse, because I was afraid I couldn't get back on, so Tracy got off his horse and got my hat and gave me his gloves because my hands were so cold.

The last time I saw Tracy was at Thanksgiving 2008 but that time doesn't stand out in my mind. The time that does is when I went with Dad and Quintan to Nanny's. Bompa had just passed away and Tracy and David were going to build a roof over Bompa's dog run so that it would be easier for  Nanny to care for his dogs in the winter. Tracy said David was an expert at building, he was just there to hand Dave nails, but if Nanny wanted a light put in, he could do that. lol. Then his wife Sharon and little girl Italia were jumping on the trampoline and Tracy said "look how cute that is. Does anybody have a camera?" I said I did and he asked me if I would take a picture of his beautiful wife and baby. I said of coarse I would. That's the last thing I remember Tracy saying to me. I never got to give him the picture.

Italia hasn't been able to see her Nan or Pop's for months. Sharon is making things really difficult. Someday she will realize, that the Jones' and Winder's aren't a terrible family. If Sharon doesn't come around I know that Heavenly Father and Tracy will get this court battle solved. And Aunt Ellie and her family will get to see Tally again and she will know her family.
