Halloween 2010

So this year I did not have my camera for Halloween. But I got this picture of Kelty off of my sister's blog. It was really hard to get the kids to stand together for a picture. This year Kelty was a bumble bee. You can see her in the corner. I put black make-up under her eyes to cover up the fact that she had an actual black eye. Bryken was a cute little honey pot and Tucker was the most handsome cowboy you've ever seen. Alexis and I took the kids Trunker Treating at the church while mom handed out candy. Then we all piled in Lexi's car and went to do the traditional Trick or Treat. We decided that next year we will need more assistance because we will both have a new baby. We went to quite a few homes and the kids loved it. Our favorite was Rhonda Neal's house. She goes all out every year. They even had chili and apple cider.

Thanksgiving Weekend

The Holidays are finally here! YAY! I finally got my Thanksgiving dinner! This baby has been making me crave Thanksgiving dinner for months. For dinner this year Matt's family and Alexis with her boys came over to my house. It was sooo much fun. On Friday morning about 2:30 a.m. two of my really good friends came over to watch the kiddos (or snooze with them I should say, since Matt & Brad both had to work) so that Alexis and I could go SHOPPING! lol it was cold and boy did our bodies ache. We took hot cocoa with us in a Thermos thinking it would keep us warm. First we went to Kohl's and waited in line for 15 minutes. They opened at 3 a.m. Kohl's was really quick this year. We went and grabbed most of our stuff and then Alexis went to stand in line. Since I am still a little bit more mobile than she is (she only has 12 weeks until she has her baby) I ran around and got the rest of the stuff. Usually we stand in line forever there waiting to check out. This year we were out by 3:45 a.m. Then we went over to K-mart and waited for them to open at 5 a.m. Alexis and I took 15 minute shifts of standing in line. At about 4 a.m. we ran out of hot cocoa so Alexis Googled on her phone to see what time Starbucks opened. They said 4:30! Hallelujah!! So I ran over and got us more hot cocoa. We found everything we needed in K-mart and then waited in line for an hour and a half. Then the cashier messed up and charged me to much so I had to go over to Customer Service. We saved a lot of money and really enjoyed the bonding time. I think I am about caught back up on my sleep.

After shopping we went back to my house and packed our bags to go to the Winder Christmas Party in Price. It was a lot of fun this year. It is so strange not having Tracy and Bompa there physically with us. I just wanted to cry, watching the big UTAH/BYU game without Bompa was painful. I was so excited whenever Kelty would see a picture of Bompa she would tell me "Bopa" and it touches my heart so much. I know she knows him and got to know all the things I wanted her to learn from him. My family tells me that Kelty looks like Tracy's little girl Italia who we don't get to see. My Aunt Ellie is going through a custody battle with Tally's mom to try and get visitation. I have been able to see the resemblance with Tally and Kelty for awhile, it's just now that everyone else is starting to. Sometimes Kelty will give me a look that looks just like Tally and it makes me think of her and miss Tracy so much more. Kelty can also point out Tracy in pictures and she started doing it before I ever told her. She will pick Bompa and Tracy out of a picture before anyone else. She knows that they are our angels and they are in heaven to watch over and protect us.

Activity Days

I am loving my new calling! It is so fun to be with all these cute girls and have fun activities. I always take Kelty with me and she has a blast. This week we wanted to decorate cupcakes. Since this is our Thanksgiving Activity we decorated the cup cakes into our Thanksgiving Dinner. We had:

TURKEY
 Corn on the Cob
Mashed Potatoes & Gravy
