So I haven't updated my blog in a while because I have no pictures to post. My camera batteries died and in the move I lost the charger. Then I realized that my memory card is gone. I cannot find it anywhere. So I bought a new card but the batteries are still dead. Oh well I will just give an update on my little Princess.
I am beginning to love this stage that Kelty is in. It is very frustrating though. She is so curious, into anything and everything all of the time. NOTHING is sacred! Even with all of the frustration, she is so much fun. And so funny. When we laugh at anything, she can be across the room and something will happen (whether it's Matt telling me something, or we're talking on the phone) and Kelty will start laughing so hard. She loves to climb all over daddy giggling the whole time. Kelty loves being outside. She likes to help daddy water the lawn, play in the grass, jump on Grandma's trampoline, and SWING! This girl is the swingin queen. She loves swings. I had Tucker the other day at Wendy's house and we were jumping on the tramp. Kelty and Tucker were all of the place. Of coarse Kelty loved to get a reaction out of mom by trying to get to the edge. Little stinker! I tackled Tucker and Kelty flopped down on him, put her mouth on his nose slobbering all over him and stayed there for a few minutes. I was holding Tucker down playing and laughing so hard that I couldn't move to let him up or get her off. So here I am laughing hysterically, Tucker's giggling because it's gross, and Kelty's laughing cuz she know's she is so silly.
Kelty started officially walking on her own about a month ago! So at 9 months! She still likes to hold my hand. Which I love! I think it's cute. She is such a mama's girl but as soon as Grandma Wendy is around, she has no interest in anyone else.
Kelty loves animals! Especially riding her pony. She is so smart, and giggly, and fun. I can't get enough of her, I miss her so much when I am at work.
Yesterday we went to South Jordan to see Dallas & Annie and Bella. Bella is our new niece, she is one month old and soooo teeny. I can't believe Kelty weighed less when she was born. They have two totally different body structures so I think that's why Kelty felt like she weighed more. When Kelty saw Bella she was amazed; she just wanted to look at her. Then she wanted to touch her. Kelty was so soft and gentle with Bella. She automatically knew how to treat a baby. Matt was holding Kelty and I sat down by them holding Bella, Kelty stretched out her arms and wanted to hold Bella and she gave her nice soft kisses. We didn't even have to tell her to be soft. Then she stole Bella's binky. I thought it was funny. Kelty didn't get jealous of other people holding Bella until Bella got a bottle. And then Kelty had to have a bottle too, which is typical. I was impressed with Kelty and how she just knew how to treat Bella.
This weekend I will steel Grandpa's camera and put up pictures of Kelty and Bella.
